Thank you I got to good metal and have been using it to try different tactics with my new buffer. Some of the pits were deeper than I thought and the inscription was very hard to see.

Theres no crack it must be the lighting if you see one. Its also mounted in Playdoh if the edge looks bad thats why. This is the same area

I bought this blade recently and I don't know if I should remove the etching on the front to also remove some slight pitting and a mirror like finish or leave it there. It is somewhat faint but still...
