I agree with you I keep a bottle of Flitz because Maas isnt locally available for me. Sometimes its just quicker and easier to use other methods.

Magic Erasers might be too harsh for scales tough. I wouldn't use on shiny plastic!!!

I just use the magic eraser by itself. Its great on tarnish. I use them on all kinds of stuff. They are quite handy to say the least.

Have you tried a MR Clean Magic Eraser? They work great for removing tarnish etc. on all kinds of stuff. You can use the whole sponge right down til it falls apart and lives no more.
