You will find the pencil will scrub well, and will not hurt a thing. If it is a pit, using the pencil with polish, you should be able to get the black out of it, at least, so it will not be seen...

Looks super! I see that stubborn spot on the front persists. Try smearing some polish and work on it with the sharp point of a pencil. Nice Job!
