    Lots of English makers used a form of celluloid about in this time frame and after, I think.
    Seems they called it Ivoroid or something else. Good stuff, harder and more stable than some cell.

    Good point, Jimmy! In fact, lots of old German razors have Germany stamped much the same way.

    I guess the 'England' was an add-on as the regular old stamp was struck.

    I have seen some similar. As has been said, around turn of century.
    While not huge razors, they have a distinct grind which usually yields a tiny bevel and an excellent shave.
