    I like a nice, thin, and suspended piece of fine-grained balsa, sanded smooth, as a canvas for CroOx.

    CroOx on leather? :rolleyes: Nothing new there unless you are selling it?

    A block of wood, some leather, and some CroOx, is cheap. IMO, premium leather is not necessary for the purpose.
