I have early Torrey's heavily-stamped and later same lightly etched and barely discernible.

Long-running outfits always seem to end production with this.
Sheffield, American, Swedish, German,...

One thing to do is to post pics of known and unknown blades to compare features, etc.

There are late-production Iwasake razor of Swedish steel with an acid-etched type stamp upon them. I have one. It shaves quite good.
