Those are NICE. If I was going to use the one with the crack starting, I might scrub out the crack with a tiny brush and mild detergent so as not to disturb the patina. Dry well, and put a smidgen...

I feel is is the number for the set on that particular day/time. We must remember that this is before Henry Ford's T and interchangable parts. Every set was fitted individually, by hand!
