Yes. I did read somewhere that the Nazis did not shut and repurpose them as they did most cutlery makers. They were apparantly such quality, bayonets, knives, daggers for the Riech were made.

I have been trying to determine approximate age of this blade. It was reground back in the day. Someone got fancy and did a double grind on it, but left the edge almost paper thin. I had to...
