Everyone uses a 4 inch grinder.

My 8" has a nut at the top of the brush etc. I think it is a clearance issue with the 4" and being for lack of a better term on the face of the wheel.

Box end wrenches work great for that also.

That looks great but wouldn't a cheater of 1/2 pipe or so maybe 3/4 work on the factory wrench?
