These are extremly fun to hone, there's a reason that my goto razor for testing hones is the Gotta. Like you say they almost hone themselves :) (And takes a great edge)

Did this for our very own Amund (Blix), the original scales had broke off by the pivot pin.

Didn't do much on the blade, just a light buffing through the polishing compounds.
