The hones are fine,not to worry,as above,sharpen some non razors on the DMT,Knives,scissors,an old ax.
Clean the DMT with a scotchbright pad and some dish soap.Mark a pencil grid on the stones....

Forget the screwdriver,most are cad or chrome plated and IMO you will contaminate the DMT.
Sharpen some kitchin knives,some chisles,work the entire plate over with carbon steel items
