Is a stick of Gabon up the road from me,4"x4" x5', is ink black accoustic grade material,wack it with a hammer it rings like a bell,30 yrs dry.

39mm to be exact,I have Carbide forstners up to 2 in but no way in hell will they bore a hole that size in ebony.
started at 1 in. than used the bar.
