For us it is a 9 month crop,do not use starts,just buy garlic bulbs at the farmers market.

Glen,try starting you Garlic again in Sept.

What do you do with the tabacco??

One year I put two cords worth of wood ash and two tons of pellet stove ash in my garden,nothing would grow that summer:(.
Next year it was fine.

Glen, do not overdo the ashes,are good to a point.Wood stove ashes good or bad?
