Glen is a great guy and will treat it right. I have never used a non-vintage blade, though one I found had never been used before so it was sorta new. Vintage blades are great.

I'm sure there's someone down in your neck of the woods who can give her a proper honing. No idea on the Super Light part. Just like life it's more important what we are than what we were.

She may not be the prettiest girl, but that doesn't mean she can't dance. My sweetest blades are also my ugliest. Could still be a great shaver. And BTW, love the barber's notch.

It looks good! I can't see anything wrong with the scales in these pics. Looks like mottled horn AKA faux tortoise shell. Very nice.

Late EDIT: I re-read this and thought: That's not a Spanish point, that's a French point. Don't know why I thought/typed Spanish when I first posted.

I've really been amazed at that myself. You expect them to all look rather similar being from the same maker, but there's a wide range of styles, cuts, and grinds.

I really like that Spanish point, but then I thought...the wedge is really good looking...but man, that frame back...whew. They're all gorgeous.

That's a great find. I really like those older razors with the thick shank. I don't know if it makes them easier or harder to shave with, but something about them appeals to me aesthetically.
