The photo is a bit misleading though it isn't as much of a wedge as is seen on more flexible scales. Being that the bone is quite stiff it can't be very "wedgy". But yes, it does have a slight taper...

I love this etch. The blade was pretty decent but got it polished up and I worked around the etch. Bone scales with honey horn wedge.
