My routine is starting ( of course it depends on...
My routine is starting ( of course it depends on the razor) at 220 for cruddy blades . I have another post with an Engels where I started higher.
Getting the black off? Sanding gets you there .... -

Sanded all up to 600 where I stopped at that on...
Sanded all up to 600 where I stopped at that on the blade face. Kept sanding everything else that was to get polished ( top of spine, shaft,tail) up to 1200 and then it was 1 maybe 2 passes on the...

Gave this one a new lease on life. Used all the same parts and just gave them a once over. Too
