I just wish it hadn't been attacked with some 36 grit before it fell into my lap. That limited its chances.
I wonder how many others with cool scripts are out there,, let alone how many are long... -

It always amazes me how nicely these old scales...
It always amazes me how nicely these old scales clean up. They look like they're ready for the scrap heap at times but a few minutes of sanding and a polish and off they go looking like new.

Butler " William Shakespeare"
This razor came in rather sad shape. But it's pretty cool and so I did what I could to try and salvage it.
The blade cleaned up rather well, all things considered. The scales, a bit rough cleaned...
