To get that polish that is so shiny that the blade looks almost 'Blue'....

Once you have the sanding done, I always start with black emery polish. This is the longest part of the polishing process...

Just finished this very nice 6/8 shoulder-less Joseph Rodgers and Sons with the original 'faux' Tortoise horn scales. The blade face is etched "REAL OLD ENGLISH RAZOR".
