It's a nut and a bolt Mike...that picture was taken a long time ago before the pivot was pinned. If you look at the pin on the wedge end you can see what the pivot pin ended up looking like.

The scales are Bakelite Tom...definitely not the original ones. I haven't gotten around to restoring this blade and replacing the scales with vintage appropriate ones yet. It is a 'cool razor'...and...
