I have contacted SRD. They don't look like creases so I would assume they're just natural ridges? Here is a better pic:

I just received my first straight shaving kit from SRD and I'm excited for my first shave! However, I noticed there are some ridges on the strop which can be felt if I slide my hand down the strop....
