just got my 3 set of 8" x 3" stones today and was wondering should i use my DMT 8c to lap them? also do most people lap only one side and use that only or both sides?

sounds like a plan. guessing if using all 3 could do less passes with each. was thinking to stick to water so as not to make a mess of anything and to not absorb into the stone so that it infects...
