I posted on this subject before and I have gotten some small cuts on my cheek. Nothing requiring medical attention, just home first aid. I am a little hesitant around the area but I am more careful....

Watch your angle and when starting out, make sure the SR's spin is close to your skin and go slow and easy. It'll come back to you.
