I did the initial grind with a tool rest and an 8" wheel, then from 120 to 6 micron freehand, then buffed.

Thanks Collin. I will let you know in the morning. I have been working diligently on my honing and haven't had a spec of stubble in 2 weeks :)

Here is my newest razor. I gave it a full regrind, its 13/16 quarter hollow with a set of salvaged one piece tortise shell scales.
I couldnt remove all the pitting, but got pretty damn close....
