To my eye, that looks like a 1780-1810 Sheffield razor that's been rescaled, or at least re-pinned.

Where I grew up, the school had very poor language classes. I got a different one every year and learned pretty much nothing of any of them.

Yeah, there are a lot of similarities to the papillion razors, but I'm pretty sure this one is all original. The pins are iron (which I've not seen anywhere else).
