Mark, I do find full hollow grinds much easier to hone, I agree the quarter hollows can need a little more pressure where a full hollow can be walked through a progression.

Thanks, Steve, yes I'll try a few different methods finishing with slurry and honing without I'm sure I'll find the edge that most pleases me.:)
