Thanks Walt - after another look at the photo (I haven't got the razor yet) it is impossible to read the tang, however the box reads 'Geo. Wostenholm & Son.'
I believe at some time it became Geo...

Can anyone shed some light on when these razors were manufactured?
I've looked through the search facility and can't seem to find much.
Would it be around c.1815?
