Of course with naturals, the name was brought up by people on this forum that are jealous about this inexpensive hone when you can get a similiar results to a very expensive arsenal!!

I dont see it that way, if you make your stone super smooth i think you loose on it ability to actually scratch or smooth the razors edge, your actually removing its honing abilities.

Oh ok maybe you should tried a different aproach since your method with this hone is not working and you would probably benefit
from working with slurry!!

How about using a dmt 325 to create a slurry on the phig works good for me!!
