Yes there are many variations within the "family" of No.14 razors which I also subscribe to the theory that not all the No.14s came from the same German factory.
I hope to one day be able to submit...

The JMP was a limited signature razor from Filarmonica. I have only seen this model from the early part of their production history (before 1950s approx), after which the Medallion series...

My mistake my question was in regard to the Herder not the ERN.
Must be a heavy 1/2 hollow.

It just occurred to me that these brands were made by US companies and/or sold in the US. Obviously they were well promoted.
The 14s mostly come from Spain and Germany. I will start looking for...

Yes that would have been my guess.
There are many hidden makes of Spanish razors.
I as yet only have a few.
This is one I will keep an eye out for :tu:

Not everyone realises that he made Imperials and Filarmonicas.
