My Rolls hone has clearly seen some use. I reckon if I had the Rolls strop in great shape it would be much more comfortable for me. My strop could used to a good clean but I don't know hoe to do it...

Good to hear it went well. The shaves from it can be excellent if you hone it one something other than the original hone.

Day 4 with the Rolls and this time the blade was honed on lapping film....

I was happy that the guy who made the brush and bowl suggested zebra wood. I was after a wood with good contrast between the wood and the grain. They turned out better than I had hoped.
