It was an eBay find. It came dry as a bone. It was in a mismatched coffin marked C. H. Mort Newark-on-Trent which was also in excellent condition.

I think this is about as near NOS as you can get considering it's age. A post 1890 Christopher Johnson & Co. 6/8 near wedge. To me it appears to have never been honed other than at the factory. Just...
