I'm not sure about the geometry. I can tell you it still has a near wedge appearance and a thin and even bevel. Look at the toe on picture. The shave is awesome.

Yea it was just a thought. Who knows why it was...
Yea it was just a thought. Who knows why it was done but it was held against a wheel and dished out. The grind lines running fore and aft.
