I must agree to some extent, really, so long as you have warm lather that lubricates well enough, the rest should fall into place. What follows then, heavily is owing to refined technique.

Maybe that's my problem, I use very hot water when I shave. But I figure, what the heck, what's another dip in the lather cost at then end of the day... a mere couple of cents.
