Regarding the age...I'm guessing 30s-40s.

I wouldn't doubt it...but if that's what the going rate is, I'm fine admiring from afar...

Am I just a straight homer if I feel straights should worth more because actual craftsman actually work on them versus something totally machine made?

It blows my mind, to be honest...there are amazing and collectable safety razors out there to be had for under $100 if you look for a bit. I was willing to go $135...but...
