Ok well I finally got a Jnat to do some comparing. It is a Shuobudani. I decided to look at them all under a little microscope from radio shack and the C12k kind of looks like the mystery stones even...

Don't think I will be able to get any better pics of the surface since that is the best my camera can do, but will try in some brighter natural light. Whatever it is it turned out to be a nice stone...

I don't know if it is that is why I posted it here. It was listed as a Japanese natural stone and the seller, from what I have gathered now is a member here, so thought I would take his word on it....

Here it is next to my C12k for comparison. My C12k is pretty scratched up atm though. I wasn't going to get it if I had to pay a premium price for it, but since it was alittle more than what a C12k...

Yea it feels alot different. It gave 4 razors an exceptionally smooth edge that I liked so I can't really complain, but I think I am mainly just trying to find an excuse to eventually buy another...

Thats what I was almost thinking except the characteristics are completely different to the C12k I have. Im thinking the stone might have come from Japan, but it isn't the typical stone associated...
