The only fly in the ointment with using Confederation in 1867 as a dating tool is that prior to Confederation Upper and Lower Canada existed. OTH circa 1867-1891 seems the most reasonable...

Just curious if anyone has seen that particular blade etching before and has a better idea of the time frame these were made?
