You don't have to justify it is the answer. You want it, you buy it budget permitting. You are indulging in a bit of decadent excess for the pure pleasure of the ability to do so. At the very worst...

That is a very good point. I would drop the threshold for entry into the 2 band badger quality knot to about $100 for an SOC. Still that is about 10X the cost of my well broken in Omega 10066.
