I guess this years races at the Isle of Man TT are a good example of the dangers of this type of racing. IIRC, 3 dead in a weeks worth of racing.

Ah well, then I did not misunderstand you in the first place so I'll let stand what I said, dangerous and illegal here. Yes, we all know that in a collision the smaller vehicle comes out the worst....

I could have misunderstood "filtering through traffic" to mean some rider driving between two cars to get ahead at stop lights or creep up beside waiting for the light to change.

If you mean...

Filtering through traffic on a bicycle or motor bike is not only dangerous but illegal here.
