I went to the Hart site to see what they looked like closed in the scales and compared to my 8/8 Puma there is a lot less blade exposed. Almost like the top line of the Hart scales are not as concave...

I don't know what Tim did but the changes in the shape of the scales really is an improvement over the not so nice clunky industrial looking Hart scales. To me that makes the Hart much more pleasing...
