Ya, very true. They definitely get smaller the deeper you get. My next pod I buy I'll get a fat one, and I'll have to see how it plays out.

I suppose yer right 10pups. The skinnier pod I used still had enough meat on it. By the time I got through the "fluff" it was about 1 5/8", 1 3/4" which is enough for a fatter handle.

Here it is guys, mission accomplished. It has a very cool look to it. Notice the end of the brush where the core of the pod is. It looks much like a sun burst.

I have it oiled already, but I'm not posting it until it's totally complete. The material is gorgeous with the oil on it.
