Well, it was ALMOST 4 weeks and I hadn't noticed a change in scent after the first week so I decided to filter it and use it.

I dumped it in the French Press and from there through white coffee...

Its been nearly the same color since I first mixed it up. I think the color comes from the fact that I used Black Strap rum.

Mine smells great so far, I'm glad I added the additional lime zest. The smell isn't very long lasting. Works good though, I've splashed some on out of one of the jars after shaving to give it a try....

Good call. He's fond of vanilla too. Can you picture that in that mix?

I may try cooking it with woods at some point. I would lost all the alchohol to evaporation, and who knows what else.
