It was in such good shape when i got it I just used some nice clean rags and mothers polish with a lot of elbow grease.

Finally made a little progress on this. I dont have the time, space, tools or materials to make my own scales so I used a donor pair...

hmm, sounds like just muting the point and lightly rounding it off would be best then, thanks for the input guys.

No suggestions on to sand down the length of the blade to remove this chip or if its better to just round the point??????

Here is an issue, the point has a tiny chip in it .... what would be the recommended approach? I have seen bread knifing the entire blade, using sandpaper to knock down the over all with evenly until...

Just got my Red Imp in today! Something about these, I just had to have one.

The scales were terribly shrunk and extremely warped so those are junk :td but after a de-scale the blade cleaned up...
