I've used the synthetic frans shaving brush a few more times now. I think it was like double o said, the shampoo used had argan oil in it and I think that had a negative affect on lather production....

I don't face lather ever, always in a bowl. Perhaps the shampoo is the culprit and i'll give it a really good soak/rinse and attempt again. I used the wife's shampoo and it DOES have Argan oil in it....
