Square points do make you pay attention thats for sure :). Since you are just starting there is a lot to learn and think about during your shaves at first, not having to keep constant watch over that...

I would mute that square point so it doesn't bite you. It looks like a fine razor and should shave great. Some MAAS metal polish would make those razors sparkle pretty!
