My go to soap has been col. conks bay rum, but I love trying new ones all the time. I have yet to find one that doesn't work. I prefer aftershaves without alcohol but still use florida water now...

I am sure most here would say "it depends". Products work differently depending on skin type, beard type, shave technique. Most important in my opinion is very little pressure while shaving.
