OK, after some time I finally decided to sharpen this baby. Since, I've added a usb microscope to my arsenal. Looking at the edge of this blade under 200 x magnification I could see it was flat...

The ad read 22.5 at toe and 21.8 but the edge looks straight. Do these numbers sound about right taking measurement error into account ?

I'll know for sure once I have actual possession of it but from the looks of it I'd say probably not. Maybe try to get out those 2 scratches or initials on the back by buffing and just a sharpening.
