Didn't notice any difference from the coticule edge one. Not sure why, but it did a lot of laps on just water, I could feel resistance, but it didn't seem to affect how it shaved or smoothness...

All I've been using is the unicot method. Since it works, I don't want to mess with success. I'm happy with the results from that method the couple times I've used it.

Honed my second razor yesterday on the coticule with the unicot method. Shaved with it this morning, and another BBS shave. Can't believe I'm getting this to work 2 for 2! Must have gotten lucky...

Spot on. It seems like every razor I have has got that same spot until I get comfortable with that particular razors shape/weight
