i may have to try that !!! i almost took it apart to sand the scales and maybe just give them a bit of rounded appearance on the edges but the pins are sunk in and i didnt want to fool with it today...

i was thinking that also , there real light and dry ill for sure have to treat them with something ... i took off about 1/16 near the wedge to even it out where the wedge was set in farther then the...

i doubt it , someone did a good job on them though other then not treating the wood with anything .. the etching is Deep ive been trying to get that black off the end , there is a pit mark there that...
