Maybe I'm bias but some of the English creams are the best out there. Penhaligons and Floris are top performers but with the most exquisite fragrance.

Any of the big name English creams fit that bill, Taylor's of Old Bond St is such one. Stupid easy to make copious amounts of lather and cheap as chips to boot.
