I hear what you guys are saying. The chosera 1k is the pro choice though. Most pro honers(Im not a pro) use it for its speed and clean scratch pattern, its splash and hone and really doesnt need much...

I had a king and had the same bad experience with it. Very slow, may as well hone in the bathtub with it! Lol. Chosera is a much better and faster stone IMO. But I'm sure there are many happy users...
