The issue with the henckels is to do with the data on SRP and out of my control. It does need tidying up - perhaps you could have a go? ;)

I've considered a two second splash screen in the past, but felt it was simply a waste of time. If, however, it's considered a good idea by users, I'm happy to add it as a feature in a future version.

Did it ever crash for you in 0.1? If so, then this is the exact same situation - it's just that the app is now handling it properly. It should only happen when your data/wifi connection is gone or...

Intend to make it easier to find manufacturers, but, unless I can find an API url, full search would be impossible without downloading, and keeping in sync, the entire database.

I've located the cause of (hopefully) all the random crashes. Thanks to meleii for pointing out that it may be connected to data connectivity. Have already started working on a fix - hope it won't...

Thanks very much, but I don't really want to have to provide any support for BB10. If you want to develop a new app for BB10, then I'd be happy to help with the various URLs I used to pull in data.

Yes, I'd already thought of that image idea. The reason it's not there is to do with the problem I mentioned in the first post. If the second solution I mentioned is possible then I could implement...

OK - I've had a look at the Torrey Co., J. R. issue - there are definitely 2 in the database, one has no full stop (period) at the end and the other does. The former of those two has no razors...

Thanks for that. I look into the data issue, it's almost certainly that there are two Torrey Co., J. R. In the database. As for why it crashed, I can't reproduce that,, but I'll keep looking at it.
